WASHINGTON – US Happy With Pakistan Over Jailing Hafiz Saeed. The United States, on Wednesday, praised Pakistan‘s jailing of Hafiz Saeed. This was a step long sought by Washington as well as New Delhi.
According to details, US Deputy Secretary of State for South Asian Affairs, Allice Wells tweeted about this. She said that the conviction of Hafiz Saeed and his associate is an important step forward. Both toward holding Lashkar-e-Taiba accountable for its crimes, and for Pakistan in meeting its international commitments to combat terrorist financing.

Federal Minister for Economic Affairs, Hammad Azhar has also stressed that his team remains committed to complete FATF Action Plan. The FATF meeting will take place on February 16th.
