ISLAMABAD – Pakistani Pilgrims To Return In Next Few Days From Iran. Special Assistant to PM on Health, Dr Zafar Mirza, on Friday, said that Pakistani pilgrims from Iran will return in the next few days.

According to details,in a tweet from his official Twitter handle, the special assistant said that he visited Taftan-Zahdan border himself. And reviewed the situation there. He further said that after reviewing the situation, they have come up with a plan.

He further added that pilgrims will return to Pakistan in batches after full health screening. “Point of entry is in the process of becoming more through. Thanks to all for the hard work!,” he tweeted.

Meanwhile, two confirmed cases of coronavirus have surfaced in Karachi, media reported on Wednesday. Pakistani Pilgrims To Return In Next Few Days From Iran.

One of the victims is 22-year-old Yahya Jaffery. The victim had arrived from Iran via aeroplane with his family on February 20. He is in a private hospital for treatment while his family is also under surveillance.

Iran has as the highest number of deaths from coronavirus outside China, where the virus emerged late last year. The number of deaths compared to the number of infections is higher in Iran than in any other country, including China and South Korea where the outbreak is far more widespread. In view of the situation, most of the neighbouring countries including Pakistan, Turkey and Armenia have also closed their borders with Iran
