ISLAMABAD – Hafeez Sheikh Briefed PM Over Economic Relief Package. Federal Finance advisor, Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, on Sunday, called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in PMO. Sheikh briefed him about the progress on economic stimulus package.
According to details by the media office of the PM House, the Finance Advisor briefed the Prime Minister about the progress on economic stimulus package. Earlier this week, Prime Minister Imran Khan announced the relief package for the virus hit economy.
The package will support the business community, SMEs, and the general public. It will particularly focus on deferment of loans and borrowing of new ones on subsidy. The ecenomic stimulus package will also focus on cash transfer via tax refunds, social safety Ehsaas Cash Transfer Program etc.
