The HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020 trophy was unveiled at the National Stadium in Karachi on Wednesday. This is the first time in 5 years that the PSL’s trophy has been unveiled on Pakistani soil.

Squash legend Jahangir Khan was the one who brought the trophy to the stadium. He unveiled it alongside PCB’s Chairman Ehsan Mani accompanied by other officials. Captains of the PSL franchises and their owners were also present at the unveiling ceremony.

The trophy is designed by UK-based Ottewil Silversmiths. The crescent and star represent Pakistan. The multi-coloured enamel strips represent the dynamic culture of the country.

The trophy will be utilized in all future editions of the PSL and the names of every edition’s triumphant team will be engraved on it. It is 65 centimeters in length and gauges eight kilograms.

The fifth version of the PSL will be played from Feb 20 to March 22. The first ever edition which is being organized totally in Pakistan will be played in 4 cities – Karachi, Multan, Rawalpindi and Lahore.
