ISLAMABAD – Ramzan To Begin On April 25: Ministry of Science and Technology. The Ministry of Science and Technology, on Thursday, has announced about the Ramzan Moon. It said that the moon of Ramzan will be sighted in Pakistan on the evening of April 24.
According to details, the ministry announced it through a tweet. It read that following the sighting of the moon, Ramadan will begin from April 25.
The moon of Ramadan will be sighted in Pakistan on the evening of April 24, 2020, and the holy month is expected to begin from April 25, 2020.

Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Fawad Chaudhry has also announced this on his personal Twitter handle.

Last year, this was a lot of discussion when Fawad Chaudhry announced a scientific calendar for the Ramzan. Conservative religious leaders refused to come out of their ignorance and accept a proper scientific method for this ordeal. This year however, things might change.
