KARACHI: Port Qasim Shipping Activity for Today. Shipping activity remained active at the Qasim Port for Today. Three ships, Maersk Broodlyn, Teno and Marangas Ascleplus carrying Containers and LNG took berths at the port.
It was on Qasim International Container Terminal and Engro Elengy Terminal respectively on Thursday, 6th February-2020. Meanwhile another ship, Asla Liberty with Edible oil also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during the same day.
PQA berths engaged a total of nine ships to load/offload. Containers included Condensate, Rice, Coal, Soya Bean, General Cargo, LNG and Palm oil. Out of them, two ships, sailed out to sea from MW-I and FOTCO on Friday morning. Meanwhile, another container vessel will sail from QICT on the same day.
A cargo volume of 117,765 tonnes, carried in TEUs Imports exports, was handled at the Port during last 24 hours. Two ships will load/offload Cement and Diesel will take berths at MW-I and FOTCO today. While a container vessel will arrive at Port Qasim today and two more container vessels, are due to arrive on Saturday, 8th February-2020.
