NEW YORK – Pakistan Becomes First Country To Include A Transgender Women In UN Delegation. Setting examples for the world to follow. Pakistan has become the first country to include a legally recognised transgender women in its United Nations delegation.
The National Delegation is at the UN Session Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) committee in Geneva, Switzerland. Ministry of Human Rights announced this on twitter.

During the session, Pakistan State delegation successfully completed the review of Pakistan’s fifth Periodic UN CEDAW Report in Geneva. The delegation was led by the Ministry of Human Rights.
