PESHAWAR – KPK Closes All Educational Institutes Over Coronavirus. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, on Friday, has decided to close all educational institutions in the province for 15 days. This is to prevent the spread of Novel Coronavirus Covid-19.
According to details, the total number of positive cases in Pakistan are 22 as of yet. KP’s Provincial Minister for Information and Public Relations, Ajmal Khan Wazir announced the decision to close all educational institutes in the province.
Provincial minister also said that KP’s cabinet has decided to keep all hostels shut during the said time period. Meanwhile, all meetings, festivals, and social, as well as political, gatherings are also banned. KPK Closes All Educational Institutes Over Coronavirus.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has decided to keep educational institutions across the province closed until May 31. Sindh Information Minister Saeed Ghani said that matric examinations for ninth and 10th grade, which were to start on March 16 are also postpone.
