G7 – G7 Vows To Restore Global Growth. The finance ministers and central bank chiefs of G7 have vowed to “do whatever is necessary” to safeguard jobs and the economy from disruptions caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

According to a G7 statement in Washington, the officials said they are working cooperatively with substantial and complementary packages to help companies weather the impact. We will do whatever is necessary to restore confidence and economic growth. As well as protecting jobs, businesses, and the resilience of the financial system. The statement came as Wall Street is expecting trillion-dollar stimulus package from US Congress.

Earlier, the finance ministers and central bank governors of G7 had a conference call. They pledged actions against the spread of coronavirus including fiscal measures. Japanese Finance Minister Taro Aso said that these measures will be where appropriate to support the global economy.
