KARACHI – Freight Train Met an Accident Near Karachi. An unfortunate event where a freight train met an accident near Baloch colony in Karachi. 6 cars/Bogies were de-railed.
According to details, the incident caused suspension in cargo trains network service for 5 hours. However, no injury or loss of life occurred. Meanwhile, Pakistan Railways officials said that the down train was coming from Lahore when it met with the incident.

Following the incident, PR relief teams reached at the site and cleared the track. The derailment caused suspension of cargo train service for about five hours. Passenger train service is already in suspension because of the Coronavirus pandemic. However, the freight trains are operating across the country.
