The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday affirmed that none of the 128 COVID-19 tests on the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020 participants came out positive. This included players, match officials, support staff, team owners and broadcasters.

An official statement from the PCB said that the 128 COVID-19 tests were led as a major aspect of the PCB’s obligation of care, following an associated COVID-19 case in one of the athletes. The press statement said that 17 tests — directed on the Multan Sultans squad came back negative as well.

Remarking on the issue, PCB Chief Executive Wasim Khan stated: “It was totally basic for the integrity and validity of PSL and the PCB that everybody was tried for COVID-19.”

“With this in see, PCB is satisfied with the result of the outcomes and glad that every one of these players and authorities have rejoined their families with no security and health questions or concerns,” he stated. He further said that the PCB will keep on setting up careful steps for its employees.
