LAHORE: Punjab to install Advanced Water Meters. The government of Punjab has approved the installation of advanced water meters in Lahore. They would ensure efficient management and distribution of water resources.

According to details, Chief Minister Punjab, Usman Buzdar approved the installation of water meters. While the estimated cost of the whole project will be Rs10.3 billion rupees.

Chief Minister gave the said approval in a high-level meeting of Punjab’s private partnership policy and monitoring board. The chief minister expressed outrage over delay in implementation on recommendations of Zero Waste Material Recovery Facility. While, he directed the concerned authorities to immediate comply the orders of the provincial government. Punjab to install Advanced Water Meters.

Earlier CM Buzdar had taken a significant step for the establishment of law and order. Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) got Rs 664.7 million rupees as funds. Meanwhile, these will be used for the operation, maintenance and payment of salaries. While, the technical supplementary grant will benefit safe cities projects in Lahore and Kasur.

Provincial cabinet’s sub-committee on law and order made the decision of releasing the funds. Meanwhile, CM Punjab Usman Buzdar approved the funds. The spokesperson the Punjab government, Shahbaz Gill said that the establishment of law and order is the top priority of the chief minister. The issuance of funds ended the rumours spreading for the dissolution of the project, he added.
