UK declares Pakistan Safe for Travel

ISLAMABAD – The United Kingdom has changed its travel advisory for Pakistan in view of the improved security situation in the country, media reported on Friday that Pakistan Safe for Travel.

According to details, the decision was made after comprehensive review based on a wide-ranging assessment of the country’s security situation. This is the first major update in the travel advice since 2015. The advice now allows British Nationals to travel to the north of the country as well as the Kalesh and Bamboret Valleys.

Commenting on the decision, British High Commissioner to Pakistan, Dr Christian Turner said the credit goes to the hard work of the Government of Pakistan which made efforts to improve the security situation in the country. He said the travel advisory will allow British nationals to see more of what Pakistan has to offer.

In June 2019, the British Airways commenced flights to Pakistan after the country’s law and order situation improved. Later, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Pakistan and finds out that Pakistan Safe for Travel.

Security situation across Pakistan has been improving thanks to the resilient Pakistan Army and their active efforts against terrorism, extremism, and terror-financing.
