MOSCOW – Putin Believes Russia And US Should Work Together During Pandemic. Russian President Vladimir Putin, on Thursday, said that the global coronavirus pandemic is an opportunity for Russia to work together with the United States.
According to details, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told reporters about this. He said that President Putin believes this pandemic is the time to help each other. This is very positive and the US president told Putin of this readiness during the recent phone call.
Russia would take Trump up on his offer “if need be”, he added. This comes after US President Donald Trump offered to send ventilators to Russia on Wednesday.
Last week Putin and Trump discussed their countries’ efforts to combat coronavirus. Meanwhile, Russia this month sent a military plane with medical aid and equipment to New York, the epicentre of the US coronavirus epidemic.
