DUBAI – Pakistan’s Multi Million Dollar Pavilion In Dubai Expo 2020. The construction of Pakistan’s pavilion in the Dubai Expo 2020 has begun. This was informed by Pakistan’s consul-General in Dubai, Ahmed Amjad Ali.
According to Khaleej Times, Pavilion will cost around $21 million. Meanwhile it will cover an area of 3,449 square meters of land. Pinchtech Engineering Consultants have designed the Pakistani pavilion. Whereas, Al Shafar General Contracting is the main contractor for the project.
Government of Pakistan has also been very keen to attract foreign investments. The government signed a participation contract with Expo 2020 authorities in 2018. The Dubai Expo will give United Arab Emirates an economic boost of over $33 billion. It will also add 1.5 percent to UAE’s gross domestic product (GDP) while creating some 50,000 jobs yearly over the period of 10 years.
