LAHORE: Canada, Iran and England won their fixtures on the fourth day of the Kabaddi World Cup at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad on Wednesday.

Canada beat Azerbaijan 40-31, Iran defeated Germany 55-23 and England overwhelmed Sierra Leone 41-26. Canada’s Naveen was pronounced the best raider Ravi Kumar claimed the title of best stopper in the first match of the day. Iran’s Mesal Muhammadi was declared the best raider of the match. In the same match, Iran’s captain Ali Safari was pronounced the best stopper.

Three matches are to be played on Thursday in the ongoing Kabaddi World-cup. Iran will play India in the first match of the day which starts at 1:30 PM. The second match will be played at 2:45 PM between Sierra Leone and Germany. The third and last match of the day will be between Australia and Pakistan.
