JERUSALEM – Israel Closes All Schools Over Coronavirus. Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, on Thursday, ordered all schools in the country closed as a precaution against Novel Coronavirus Covid-19. He also called for the formation of an emergency national unity government.
According to details, Netanyahu said in broadcast remarks that “We are altering our internal routine in order to handle an outside threat, the threat of the virus.”
Along with Israel, many other countries in Europe and Asia are under complete lockdown. The worst affected country is China with 80,793 cases and 3,169 deaths. After China, Italy follows with 15,113 cases and 1,016 deaths while Iran with 10,075 cases and 429 deaths. Israel Closes All Schools Over Coronavirus.
Coronavirus emerged last year in Wuhan city of central China. From there, it is wreaking havoc across the globe. Since it first emerged in late December 2019, almost 5000 people are dead worldwide. Along with that, more than 131,479 cases in 116 countries.
