Pakistan to convene International Afghan Refugee Conference

ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan will leave on a visit to Malaysia. Khan will reach Kuala Lumpur today, Monday, on a two-day visit to Malaysia.

According to details, the Prime Minister will reach Kuala Lumpur on the invitation of his counterpart Dr Mahathir Mohamad. Prime Minister will be accompanied by a high-level delegation including cabinet members and senior officials.

During this visit, the two leaders would have a one-on-one meeting, followed by full delegation-level talks. Pakistan and Malaysia will also sign important agreements and MoUs during this visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan to Malaysia. The two leaders will also deliver a joint press statement.

Prime Minister Imran Khan will also address an event organised by a think-tank named the Institute of Strategic and International Studies of Malaysia. During his various interactions, the Prime Minister will share his vision about Pakistan. Khan will also underline Pakistan’s positive contribution to regional and international peace and security.

As a continuation of Pakistan’s offensive diplomatic on Kashmir, Imran Khan will also highlight the Indian atrocities in Kashmir. The state was put under a heavy military curfew and a brutal communications lockdown since August last year.

Prime Minister’s trip comes after Pakistan had refused to join Malaysia for the Kuala-Lumpur Summit last year.
