ISLAMABAD – Govt Gives Relief To Consumers In Electricity Bills. Islamabad Electric Supply Company IESCO, on Monday, announced relief in electricity bills. Domestic consumers which utilise up to 300 units and have single phase meter, can pay their electricity bills in three equal instalments without any surcharge.
An IESCO spokesman said that the federal government announced this relief for electricity consumers. Meanwhile, he said that there are three instalments for the convenience of our valued customers in the current critical situation.
The government has already informed all the banks and post offices about the decision. However, if the consumers desired they could pay full bills too. The spokesman also said that the last date of the bills, after extension, is April 7. This is also for the facilitation of the consumers.
The IESCO Chief has directed all field officers to promptly address the consumers’ complaints, for ensuring uninterrupted power supply to the consumers. Govt Gives Relief To Consumers In Electricity Bills.
