Rawalpindi – COAS Pays Tribute To Women For Their Role In Nation Building. Like the whole world, 8th March was observed as International Women’s day in Pakistan. Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, on Sunday, paid tribute to the women of the country for their pivotal role in nation building.

According to details, Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Major General Babar Iftikhar tweeted about this. The COAS said as follows.

“Our tribute to all women of Pakistan, who have played pivotal role in nation building in all segments of our society. Our brave mothers, sisters, daughters especially our martyrs’ families and those serving in armed forces are pride of our nation.”

COAS Pays Tribute To Women For Their Role In Nation Building.

President, Prime Minister and other high level officials also paid tribute to women. Pakistan has a proud history where women stood along side men in the independence movement. Pakistan is also the first ever Muslim country to elect a female Prime Minister.

Armed Forces of Pakistan are one of the most progressive in this regard as well. From being fighter pilots to soldiers and Navy captains, Women are everywhere.
