WASHINGTON – Bernie Sanders Drop Out Of 2020 Presidential Race. US Senator Bernie Sanders, on Wednesday, has suspended his presidential campaign. This clears the path for Former Vice President Joe Biden to become the Democratic Nominee in 2020 general elections.
According to details, 78 years old Vermont Senator announced this in a staff conference call on Wednesday. Sanders mounted a formidable challenge to Biden in the 2020 race. He became the frontrunner early this year. Biden now holds a substantial lead in the all-important race for delegates who choose the nominee.
The Senator also stated the same on twitter shortly after the press conference.
