SAN FRANCISCO – Apple Launches New iPhone For Low-Budget Users. The tech giant Apple, on Wednesday, unveiled a new entry-level iPhone. It aims to appeal to consumers facing a suddenly bleak economic backdrop.

According to details, Apple announced in a statement that the updated iPhone SE will start at $399. This is less than half the price of its flagship iPhone devices. It will be available for order as of Friday in more than 40 markets.

Apple chief executive Tim Cook limited his comments to a tweet. He called the new handset the most affordable iPhone. And a fantastic option in Apple’s lineup to help you stay connected, informed and entertained.

The 4.7 inch display is bigger than the first-generation iPhone SE but smaller than the newest phones. Apple trimmed costs by leaving out some of high-end features. These are facial recognition, fingerprint sensor and a home-screen button which fans will remember from previous generations. The iPhone SE includes wireless charging and dual SIMs, and come in black, red or white. It features a single rear camera instead of the multiple lens in the newest iPhone 11.

The move comes a week after Apple’s arch rival, Samsung introduced new smartphones that included a model designed to work on much-hyped new-generation 5G mobile networks and priced less than $500.
