COLOMBO: Sri Lanka’s Twenty20 crew needs a few changes, said head coach Mickey Arthur, who will supervise the team’s run for a second 20-overs World Cup title in the not so distant future.

In home series a month ago, Sri Lanka cleared a three-match One-day International arrangement against West Indies however lost two Twenty20 Internationals.

“Our T20 side is as yet going to take some tweaking and this was enhanced against an exceptionally solid West Indies group that essentially had an excessive amount of intensity for us,” Arthur said in a visit with Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) media unit. “I think the most significant thing is building a technique to dominate matches dependent on the assets that you have available to you and afterward ensuring that the players are under no figment concerning what that strategy depends on our qualities.”

The 2014 heroes will pursue their second 20-overs world title in Australia in October-November.

Since Arthur took over in December, Sri Lanka have lost a Test match in Pakistan yet won in Zimbabwe not long ago.

“It was truly frustrating not playing the Test arrangement against England despite the fact that this will be played sometime in the not too distant future,” said Arthur, who has also coached South Africa, Australia and Pakistan.

“We had quite recently worked out a brand that we knew would be effective against all teams, and I simply trust that the energy that we had developed won’t be lost with our test team when we fire up once more,” he said. “We have some exceptionally practical objectives with our test team and accept that we have now the players and courses of action to have achievement both at home and abroad later on.”
