ISLAMABAD – PIA Suspended Flight Operation To & From China. Pakistan has again suspended its flight operations to and from China. This comes as the death toll from the novel coronavirus reaches more than 2,500.

According to details, Pakistan International Airlines has suspended its flights to China till March 15. The national carrier has said that it would resume flight operations keeping the situation in view.

On January 31 this year, Pakistan had suspended its flight operations to and from China till February 2. However, flights operation resumed on February 2 after 69 passengers arrived from the neighboring country.

The deadly virus has been world’s number one medical emergency since about two months now. Meanwhile, no cases of the deadly novel coronavirus have been confirmed in Pakistan as of yet. PIA Suspended Flight Operation To & From China.

Pakistan has been standing with China in the time of this virus outbreak. President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Imran Khan had a phone call recently discussing the deadly novel coronavirus. President Xi said that after the outbreak, Pakistan immediately expressed its support to China. Along with providing valuable material donations, and maintaining all normal exchanges between the two countries.

The Chinese President further pointed out that China-Pakistan relations had maintained a high level of development. Chinese President said, “We will take care of our Pakistani brothers and sisters in China just as we treat our citizens.”
