NEW DELHI – India Under 21-Day Lockdown Over Coronavirus. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced that India will go into full lockdown for 21 days starting today.
According to details, India has introduced a lockdown in similar fashion to many countries all over the world. All amid rising Coronavirus concerns. In a televised addressed to the Indian nation, Modi said that there will be a total ban on venturing out of your homes.
There have been 482 confirm cases of coronavirus and nine deaths in India so far. Many experts suggest that these numbers are not exact. A lack of testing does not depict the full story of the extent of the spread of COVID-19 in India. India Under 21-Day Lockdown Over Coronavirus.
The total lockdown will be in similar fashion as Kashmir has been under for 232 days since August 2019. It was when Article 370 of the Indian constitution was remove. It used to give a special status of Jammu and Kashmir.
